Ask what function the product electronics are intended to address and which vehicle or application evidence supports the claim.
2. Avoid universal error-free claims
Compatibility can vary by vehicle platform and electronics. Treat broad “works on every car” language cautiously unless the supplier can provide application-specific evidence.
3. Ask about additional decoders
Some applications may require an external decoder or additional solution. Confirm this before approving the product for a market or vehicle program.
4. Put compatibility into the RFQ
Include bulb size, vehicle/application context, target market, estimated quantity and the CANBUS issue you need the supplier to verify.
